  1. Hi Amy: Arthur and I, and our entire business, are really excited about your terrific mushrooms. We are planning to do a Wine Dinner on Nov 11 featuring these Mushrooms.

I am writing you now because I want to write a little Blog on you and the mushrooms – in the next day or so. Any chance we can chat… on the phone? I will be at the Cafe tomorrow – and could meet you if you are bringing mushrooms in. I would be available around 1:30 pm. (I have a lunch meeting with Jill Stanton Bullard of the Interfaith Food Shuttle… so come and meet her if you like.) I don’t know what your schedule is – just throwing this out if it is possible.

Please give me a call 919-523-3484 – I would appreciate this. Anya

Hey, I’m a local forager, and I have an estimated 40 to 50 lbs. of Chicken of the woods. Do you buy foraged mushrooms? If you do they are perfect right now. You can contact me with the e-mail marshall_massey@yahoo.com or text me at 336-214-8144

    • Hi Marshall, Awesome find! I am soooo jealous!!!! No sir, I only sell mushrooms that I forage myself. Thank you for the offer though.

  3. We met you are Southern Durham market this morning. We made golden oysters at your recommendation and cooked as you described to top turkey breast leftovers. It was delicious and I added wine to cook out at the end.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge and your product with us. We are so excited to see you at future farmers markets. Thanks again for adding excitement to our leftovers! Just yummy.

I’m so excited to try the lions mane mushroom as crab cakes tonight, but I’m from Baltimore and you know know I’m going to have to touch up that recipe. 🙂

You must have Worcestershire sauce and Old Bay in a good crab cake. 🙂 I’ll let you know. I’m playing with the recipes tonight!

    • Hi Susan,
So sorry for the delayed reply. I must admit, I am bad about remembering to check the comments on this page as often as I should.
Lol, my family is from Maryland so you know I am super finicky about crab cakes. : ) That recipe is a good base but as you know, we all tweak it to our tastes. Most definitely gotta have Old Bay! Now I have to say, I have never put Worcestershire sauce in it before but now I have to give it a try.
I hope you enjoyed the crab cakes. : )
